Sitting in the ACE Hotel in New Orleans grabbed my Fuji X100f and snapped this in Acros Film Simulation. This camera makes you want to photograph. It is perfect for street photography and Fuji now has the X100v which appears to be much improved. Weather sealed capability and flip up screen.

When one of the members walked into the gallery he discovered an image of his sister that I had photographed and that he had not seen in a while. I gifted him the image and it just goes to show you we do really live in a small world and we never know when something we do may impact another person. Great weekend.

Not knowing what to expect I brought my new mirrorless system (light weight) Fuji X Pro 2 and Fuji XT1 to travel with in country. First it was a breeze to carry all my gear including 2 telephoto lens and 2 Primes.

I would highly recommend this system in the mirrorless category as the image quality is fantastic. 

The Country of Cuba also is a fascinating place and the people are fantastic. Suggest you spend a little time learning some Spanish as it makes the trip much more fun.

I also brought the Fuji Instax portable printer with me which was probably my highlight of the trip. I would photograph the locals and give them the image after recreating the picture. The thought hit me that many of these families had no images or family photos to remember their loved ones and I was able to share that with them.

The weather and the sunrise was perfect to capture some images and even send the Drone up for some aerial captures. Images will be used for the introduction of the new Boat brochure and this boat should be very popular in the Basin and Toledo Bend area.

Had a great group with us and we even produced a short video with the help of the Instructors and creative staff. Thanks to DJI Vision for providing the equipment. We only managed to lose one.

She has a contagious smile and a great support group so I could not wait to see what she had planned. First thing wigs all around for everyone.  The most interesting is at the conclusion of their treatment these warriors get to ring a bell and sign a book showing the resolve they have to fight. Very humbling experience.

The previous documented record was 8 Months by a gentleman that is now a world famous free style skier and Olympian. The photoshoot was interesting and also challenging in trying to capture the moment and the tensions. The event was well organized and every safety measure was in place. The  world record was set and Water Ski Magazine published an article on his world record and I am glad I was asked to capture this moment in this young mans life.
